CSR will be a team player providing prompt & courteous customer service to members, co-workers, & vendors in person and/or on the telephone.
Quickly responds to member requests for information regarding accounts such as balances, payments, requests for service & disconnects, various general account questions, maintenance of accounts & more.
Must be organized, attentive to detail & to deadlines while maintaining confidentiality concerning member accounts & Cooperative records.
Follows policies & procedures pertaining to Cooperative while listening & communicating effectively.
Position may include cashiering, collections, accounting services, & other duties as necessary BUSY office environment with frequent interruptions & considerable pressure.
Position is non-union, non-exempt, and works a 9/80 work schedule.
Successful candidate will meet or exceed performance standards & perform all duties necessary to assist in the overall business operations ensuring the best possible service is provided to members.
CSRs are sometimes required to report to work after normal working hours or assist with additional office tasks.
CSRs must be proficient in ten-key & computer operations including Microsoft Office.
Related work experience required & previous utility experience highly desired.
High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent from college or technical school desired.
A six-month probationary period applies.
Must satisfactorily pass YVEC's employment background check.
